ZB series

The PT0 ZB sow bowl is the ideal and simple valve bowl for feeding ad-lib and suitable for 10 . . 12 sows in group accommodation. The well-designed PT0 dosing valve ensures that the animals have a quiet eating behaviour and are therefore better limited than with a drying tray.

Design and functionality Sows Sows feed tray

For (bearing) sows it is important that feed and feed distribution are aligned. The PT0 ZB sow bowl provides a simple and effective solution for ad-lib feeding of 10 to 12 sows in group accommodation. This sow bowl provides the sows with fresh feed, which is easily accessible and optimally dosed. Moreover, this is done at relatively low investment costs, making it a cost-effective choice for sows farmers.

Quiet eating behaviour and precise adjustment

The sophisticated PT0 dosing valve ensures that the sows have a quiet eating behaviour. This reduces them better than with traditional sows. In case of larger groups of sows, several sows can be used for feeding. This sow feeder has a very precise adjustment so that the sows do not eat over and have to eat quietly. This adjustment is also very suitable for daily rationing.

Hygiene and maintenance

The increased trough ensures that the sows can easily reach the feed and that no feed remains remain. This keeps the trough clean and hygienic. Combined with the stainless steel dRN 4 this is the ideal solution for sow group accommodation with ad-lib feed. We recommend to install the sows drinking troughs (preferably a DRN 4) at least 1 meter from the ZB sows feed tray. Further assembly is not a problem either.

Optional water supply and various models

Optionally we can also have a water pipe with drink nipple as a result, the ZB transforms sows into a frying bin. The ZB feed bin models are particularly suitable for grain feed and crumb feed. For finer food, such as flour, the ZBC food tray models are ideal. A lower feed ray is available for rearing gels, which is processed in two lower models of feeding troughs.

Sustainability and solidity

The additional stainless steel omega profiles on the side make the PT0 ZB sow bowl for sows extremely strong. There is a converted stainless steel angle at the front, with which the sow bowl can be firmly mounted to the floor. On the back wall, the sows feed tray should also be firmly mounted, which contributes to overall stability and durability.
