Recycled plastic
Since 1971, VERBA has been known for its commitment to hygiene, efficiency, safety and durability in pig feeding troughs for pig stables. In the late 1970s, we took our leave of asbestos cement and switched to recycled plastic, leading the industry.
Our innovative approach has no boundaries. In the early 1980s we introduced the bowl, which reduced pig manure production by 50%. As a result, significant environmental gains were made. We continue this spirit of innovation as a family business.

Sustainability is central to VERBA. Almost all our raw materials are recycled and our waste of paper, plastic and stainless steel is carefully processed. Our production facilities run on solar energy. Moreover, we try to find our suppliers as close to home as possible to reduce CO2 emissions.
