Recycled plastic
Since 1971, VERBA has been known for its commitment to hygiene, efficiency, safety and durability in swine feeding troughs for swine pens. As a forerunner in the industry, we were the first to say goodbye to asbestos cement in the late 1970s and switch to recycled plastic for our swine troughs.
Our innovative approach knows no bounds. In the early 1980s, we introduced the liquid feed trough, which reduced pig manure production by 50%. This represented a huge environmental improvement. As a family farm, we have continued this innovative spirit.

The current generation offers the most comprehensive range of pig feeders and feed dispensers in the world. With more than two hundred feeder variants, all of which are of the highest quality and optimized for ease of use and animal welfare. Our unique pig feeder designs guarantee optimal feed conversion. We also manufacture feed troughs, piglet covers and floor heating systems for farrowing pens. In addition, we offer customized solutions to meet your specific needs.
Sustainability first
Sustainability is at the heart of VERBA. Almost all of our raw materials are recycled and our waste paper, plastic and stainless steel are also recycled. Our production facilities run on solar energy and we strive to find our suppliers as close to home as possible to minimize CO2 emissions from transportation. Thanks to our extensive dealer network, our pig feeders are distributed worldwide, and who knows, maybe in your stable soon.

In 1971 former pig farmer Bert Verbakel developed the perfect pig feeder. In the meantime the 3rd generation has joined our family farm and we continue to develop the ideal pig farm equipment.
